Jade Lau is currently working as the Pernod Ricard Specialty Brands Brand Ambassador in Hong Kong and Macau.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jade first fell in love with the bartending world at her first job in 2019 behind the bar of Gecko Jazz & Whisky bar. She then discovered a passion for Whisky at Hong Kong primer whisky bar-Tiffany’s NY bar at Intercontinental Grand Stafford hotel. She then moved on to help developing the bar program of the All-day dinning concept bar DOUBLE SHOT, and then supervised the first Martini concept bar in Hong Kong, named Kyle and Bain. Most recently she worked as Head Bartender for one of the Asia Best 50 bar: The Old Man.
On an experience side she was also featured in 2019 as 2nd Runner up for The International Chinese Baijiu cocktail competition, and at The Art of Italicus 1st Runner up. Jade was also named 2020 Time Out Bar Award Rising Star. After those experiences she then joined Pernod Ricard Hong Kong and Macau to work in developing Pernod Ricard’s brands’ awareness and to help educate bar tenders in sustainability in bartending.
